Adriana Romero, project manager from Cetaqua Barcelona, has traveled to Chennai (India) to present the LIFE Conquer project at the IWA (International Water Association) REUSE Congress 2023 (January 15th – January 19th).
The IWA Congress is an international association that gathers water professionals all over the globe to discuss, share and progress toward more sustainable water management. This year’s edition has focused on “overcoming the challenges of growth and climate change”, with a special focus on water reuse.
In tune with this topic, Adriana Romero presented the LIFE Conquer Project, a European project co-founded by the LIFE Programme from the European Commission, that aims to promote the circular economy by developing a system to reuse contaminated groundwater infiltrated in residential areas, maintaining the necessary nutrients and eliminating salinity for irrigation purposes.
